Slots News Alberta casino faces obstacle
October 5
Those of you online slots players may have to wait a bit longer to get your hands on the new slots at the new casino in Calgary. In Calgary, Alberta, a new native casino that is to be constructed is facing construction issues with the city from a disagreement in road access. The city is causing delays by putting up obstacles for the tribal casino to avoid. The Tsuu T'ina nation has already been given permission to build the new Indian casino, which is to be located south of Glenmore Trail and west of 37th Street in the Canadian city of Calgary. The existing plan for access to the new casino is to utilize Strathcona Road to get to the casino site. In order to build the casino with access from that road, the tribe must upgrade and expand the road to handle the majotr traffic to the casino. This is where the city of Calgary comes in with its obstacle. The city wants access to the casino to come from the newly made Western part of the road which would run south from Sarcee Trail. The issue with this is that the province and the Tsuu T'ina have yet to finish a deal for the road construction. In order to finish the casino, this must be ironed out quickly. Perhaps the casino will have to come up with more money for the city recommendation.
