Powerball changes are underway

Basically, for an extra buck players can add Power Play to their Powerball tickets. By adding Power Play players are assured that any Powerball prize other than the jackpot will be multiplied by up to five times.

For instance, if the Powerball ticket matches all 5 white ball numbers, the lottery player wins $200,000. If the player choses to play Power Play when buying the Powerball ticket and the Power Play number was 5, the $200,000 is multiplied by 5 and the player wins a million bucks.
